MCHS cheerleaders second in regional

REGION RUNNERS-UP—The Montgomery County High School varsity cheerleading squad finished second in regional competition held at Great Crossing High School. Front row, from left, are seniors Kelcie Donathon, Macy Shaw and Kat Parks; middle row: Morgan Toy, Aubri Gross, Meghan Lawson, Coburn Patrick, Baylee Durham, Kaylee Tyra and Kayley Jackson; back row: Lilly Holt, Caitlyn Jackson, Cloie Smith, Callie Bryant, Callie Lykins, Kara Lykins, Ava Rose and Kileigh Pace. The squad is coached by head coach Chris Shaw and assistant coaches Amy Shaw, Ashlie Thompson and Mackenzie Fryman.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE—Montgomery County senior placekicker Cooper Slagle finishes delivering a kick earlier this season at Paris. Slagle has hit 25 extra point kicks in a row this season and his final one Friday night with :21 left to play gave the Tribe a 20-19 win over Anderson County.
