Mary Jo Kendrick Martin, 85

Mary Jo Kendrick Martin, 85, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024 at the Ridgeway Nursing Home in Owingsville. 
Born July 28, 1939 in Montgomery County she was the daughter of the late Alton and Myrtle Kendrick. She dedicated her life to caring for her family.
Survivors include four daughters, Sharon Martin and Elizabeth Chandler, both of Jeffersonville, Brenda Williams and Jennifer Martin, both of Mt. Sterling; two sons, David Martin and Danny Martin, both of Jeffersonville; 11 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ellis Kendrick, Alton Kendrick Jr. and Mike Kendrick, all of Jeffersonville and Darrell Kendrick of Mt. Sterling.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Charles Howard Martin; and three sisters, Nancy Baker, Claudia Martin and Phyllis Stone.
Service was conducted Friday, Nov. 8, at the Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals.  Burial was in the Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Martin, David Eric Martin, Mason Knell, Zachary Martin, Daniel Martin, Michael Martin, Travis Bailey and Kevin Martin.
