GCS launches new Transition Home for youths

The community is invited to attend a Holiday Open House from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. and a Mt. Sterling Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting at noon Friday, Dec. 13, at the new Transition Home located at 114 E. High Street. Photo submitted.

This group of kindergarten students from Camargo Elementary School visited Two Sisters Pumpkin Patch Oct. 24. Students took a wagon ride to select their own pumpkins, were able to pet animals, enjoy barrel train rides, a corn maze, look at fall scenery and more. This was the final fall season for Two Sisters with the last official day open Wednesday, Oct. 30.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE—Montgomery County senior placekicker Cooper Slagle finishes delivering a kick earlier this season at Paris. Slagle has hit 25 extra point kicks in a row this season and his final one Friday night with :21 left to play gave the Tribe a 20-19 win over Anderson County.
