George Thomas Ensor, 90

George Thomas Ensor, known as “Dutch”, to friends and family, passed away peacefully due to natural causes, Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, at the age of 90.
Born Nov. 12, 1933, in Bourbon County, he was the son of the late Floyd Ross Ensor and Virginia Hudson Ensor. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps (1953-1957), retired IBM employee and long time member of the Camargo Church of God. For many of his retirement years he enjoyed serving the church as caretaker of the Camargo Church of God Campground.
Survivors include a son, Charles Floyd Ensor; daughter-in-law, Dora Patrick Ensor; four grandchildren, Matthew Ensor, Austin Back, Alexandria Back and Jackson Ensor; and a great-grandchild, Owen Esteban.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Henry Ensor; and three sisters, Pauline Ensor Crowe, Evelyn Ensor Profitt and Carolyn Sue Ensor Coffey.
Graveside service was conducted Thursday, Oct. 17, at Machpelah Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jamie Profitt, Terry Profitt, Jared Profitt, Tom Bottomley, David Coffey, Matthew Ensor, Austin Back and Luis Esteban.
Honorary pallbearers were nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
