Johnny Lee Allen Maynard, 22

Johnny Lee Allen Maynard, 22, of Mt. Sterling, died Sunday, July 13, 2025. 

Born July 3, 2003, in Pikeville, he was the son of Rocky Maynard and Kristie Wolford Maynard.  He worked for Toyota in Georgetown. He loved all things outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his father, Rocky Maynard (Stevy Kirkland) of Mt. Sterling; mother, Kristie Wolford Maynard of Mt. Sterling; two brothers, David Connor Maynard and Easton Rocky Maynard; sister, Kyra Ann Maynard; paternal grandmother, Shirley Ann Maynard of Mt. Sterling;  maternal grandfather, David Lee (Kimberly) Wolford of Freeburn; girlfriend, Raeanna Jo Bailey; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Johnny Maynard; and his maternal grandmother, Teresa Wolford.

Service will be conducted at noon Thursday, July 17, at the Jeffersonville Assembly of God, 7220 Main St., Jeffersonville with Mitch Bowling and Chris Casey officiating.  Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, at the church.  Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bryson Toy, Dexter Roberts, Cameron Scruggs, Ean King, Eli Hundley, Aaron Toy, Jacob Toy, Brady Kier and Danny Dotson.
