Arena Pearl Williams, 91, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday, July 4, 2025, at UK Hospice Center in Lexington.
Born June 27, 1934, in Bath County, she was the daughter of the late William Omar Rawlings and Ella Grace Caldwell. She attended Cathedral of Glory Church and was a bus driver for Montgomery County Board of Education.
Survivors include a son, Gordon Williams of Mt. Sterling; daughters, Judy Eldridge (Dave) of Winchester, Karen Jessup of Mt. Sterling and Genean Martin of Mt. Sterling; 15 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Williams; and daughter, Renee Prather.
Service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 10, at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Hobson and Rev. Paul Prather officiating. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be John Prather, Eric Hudson, Rex Martin II, Micah Williams, Ryan Williams, Jacob Williams and Robbie Crockett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shaune Dunaway, Andy Sapp, Aaron Roberts, Kevin Matuszek, Stuart McGrannahan, Sawyer Hicks, Drew Sapp, Ben Sapp, Max Sapp, Jaidyn Williams, Jett Williams, Beaux Sapp, Auggie Sapp, Hudson Prather, Harry Prather, Roland Williams, Eli Roach, Cameron Dunaway, Joseph Garland and DeAndre Thomas.
