Members of the Mt. Sterling-Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce joined staff at Triple Trust Tubs for a ribbon cutting Tuesday at the business, 1132 Levee Road. The business, which employs 11 people, is an agricultural animal nutrition manufacturing company that produces protein and mineral supplement tubs for livestock–cattle, horses, goats and sheep, as well as wild game tubs that are used to attract deer, turkey and quail. Among those in attendance were Judge-Executive Chris Haddix, Mt. Sterling Mayor Al Botts, state treasurer Mark Metcalf, state agrictulture commissioner Jonathan Shell, state Sen. Greg Elkins, representatives from the offices of U.S. Congressman Andy Barr, U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell and the USDA, and Gateway Area Development District Executive Director Josh Farrow.
