Dorothy M. Dalton, 90, of Jeffersonville, died Monday, May 26, 2025.
Born June 7, 1934, in Maytown, she was the daughter of the late Matt and Pearl Turner Jones. She attended Botts Christian Church in Menifee County, and retired from Jockey International and The Whitings.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Hudson (Kim) of Jeffersonville; step sons, Ernie Dalton of Maytown, Rodney Dalton (Jeri) of Irvine and Wayne Dalton (Teresa) of Versailles; daughters, Connie Craig (Tony) of Jeffersonville, Christine McCarty of Mt. Sterling and Melinda Reynolds of Jeffersonville; son-in-law, Woodrow White of Mt. Sterling; brothers, Charles Jones (Shirley) of Ohio and Gary Jones of Jeffersonville; sisters, Geneva Devell (Bill) of North Carolina, Wilma Dailey (David) of Peebles, Ohio, Judith Rainey of Winchester, Dixie Gould (Harold) of Winchester, Kathy Jones (Lonnie) of Winchester and Gloria Johnson (Bobby) of Winchester; grandchildren, Darrell White, Chris White, Roger White, Lisa Muncie, Cynthia Wills, Belinda Reynolds, Misty Reynolds, Chris Roland and Timmy Roland; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John William Dalton; son, Robert Hudson; daughters, Karen Diane White and Annie Roland; brothers, John Paul Jones and Marvin Jones; sister, Mary Jones; and grandchild, Robin McCarty.
Service was conducted Thursday, May 29, at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dalton officiating. Burial was in Dalton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Roger White, Chris White, Darrell White, Travis Muncie, Adam Morris and Tanner White.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Jones, Gary Jones, Ernie Dalton, Rodney Dalton, Wayne Dalton, Junior White and Darlene Hudson.
