Scartlett Cameriz, a Northview Elementary School student, had her patient checked out by Montgomery County High School student Jaiden Oney during a Teddy Bear Clinic Feb. 28 at the school. The clinic was meant to allow students to see what medical professionals do and ease their anxiety about seeing seeing a nurse or doctor.

The Montgomery County Mock Trial Blue Team, above, and the Red Team took the top spots in a 14-team regional tournament held last weekend in Louisville. Both teams now move on the state tournament in Lexington. The Blue Team was named regional champion. A group of motorcyclists stopped to enjoy a meal hosted by American Legion Post 22 and fuel up May 21 as part of the Run for the Wall at the Clay Community Center. The group stops here every year en route to Washington, D.C., for Memorial Day.
