Sheri Groen Willoughby, 53
Sheri Groen Willoughby, 53, of Mt. Sterling died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024 at her residence.
Born Oct. 5, 1970, in Winchester, she was the daughter of Mary L. Grayson and the late Kenneth L. Groen. She attended Peeled Oak Christian Church and was an X-Ray Tech for First Care Treatment and Sterling Health Solutions.
In addition to her mother survivors include her stepson, Colton Willoughby (Alex) of Florence; stepdaughters, Amanda Wilson (Richard) of Chesapeake, Va., and Khristina Cozart (Dillon) of Glencoe; brother, Ken “Tater” Groen of Mt. Sterling; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Willoughby; stepfather, David Grayson; and stepsister, Kim Grayson.
Service was conducted Friday, Sept. 20, at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Teegarden officiating.
Pallbearers were Jordan Grayson, Chad Davis, Damon Haynes, Jeff Stephens, Ken Groen and Jake Rose.
