Ronald Wilson “Ronny” Keath, 80

March 28, 2025

Ronald “Ronny” Wilson Keath, 80, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, went home to be with the Lord, and his wife, Brenda, on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
Born Sept. 5, 1944, in Biloxi, Miss., he was the son of the late Kendell and Lenora Wills Keath.  He was a member of Living Water Church and loved the Lord with all his heart.  He touched the lives of many through his unwavering faith, strong work ethic, and the warmth of his reserved yet impactful presence.  He attended the University of Kentucky and was a builder and  long-time plumber.  In addition, he was a fireman with the Montgomery County Fire Department and retired after 20 years of service. He was also a licensed pilot and an avid hunter.  He loved going out west on annual trips to hunt elk with his best buddies and son.  He gladly picked up the nickname “The Duke” on his hunting trips due to his love for western’s and anything John Wayne.  He was also a dedicated farmer and active in the Montgomery County Cattleman’s Association.  He found great joy with Brenda, his forever sweetheart. They were married for 60 years.  Together they created lasting memories camping with their friends and grandchildren, family dinners, celebrations, and time spent on the farm fishing and picking up sticks.  He was a man of few words, but those who knew him understood the depth of his wisdom when he spoke.  His sense of humor and humility made his family and friends feel cherished, guiding his children with a legacy of love and respect.
Survivors include his children, Rhonda Thomas (John), Kelly Fulton (Ronnie) and Will Keath (Terri); grandchildren, Caleb Thomas (Megan), Ethan Thomas (Kristen), Madison Fulton, Cameron Fulton, Bella Keath, Kendell Keath and Korbyn Keath; great-grandchildren, Collin Thomas, Teagan Thomas, Levi Thomas and Emily Thomas; sister, Lois Ricketts (William).
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda; and infant son, Kendell Everett.
