Lady Indians top Paris, lose to Clark in finals

40TH DISTRICT RUNNERS-UP—The Montgomery County High School girls’ basketball team finished second to Clark County in the 40th District Tournament last week at Paris. MILESTONE—Montgomery County High School junior Dawson Gentry recently scored the 1,000th point of his career when the Indians defeated Southwestern in a game played at Madison Central High School. Scartlett Cameriz, a Northview Elementary School student, had her patient checked out by Montgomery County High School student Jaiden Oney during a Teddy Bear Clinic Feb. 28 at the school. The clinic was meant to allow students to see what medical professionals do and ease their anxiety about seeing seeing a nurse or doctor.
